InTerra SmarTarget File Manager handles the device communications for file download, battery charge, file delete, and firmware updates.  The tool is available from the File dropdown.



Plug in the provided USB cables to your SmarTarget, then to the USB Charging hub, then the USB to your computer.  The provided power plug is necessary for charging, but not for file operations.


Power on the SmarTargets needed to access data, then select the File Manager.  Each unit will show up in the window with a charge status and list of files.  Files can be sorted by name, size, or date modified.  Note that the date/time is UTC to the time collected in the field.  Once downloaded the file will have the local system date and time stamp.  Multiple files can be selected for download simultaneously.


It is recommended to process the files before deletion to assure no errant command is issued causing a loss of data.  Data kept on the SmarTarget is secure until deleted.
